I met the wonderful composer. pianist and educator Simon-Mary Vincent when I performed her ‘Three Green Hills pieces’ with the Electro-acoustic ensemble in Hull during 2023. We decided to collaborate for a performance of Charles Ives ‘Three quarter-tone pieces’ in 2024. After that we formally named our duo whilst studying and rehearsing György Kurtág’s Játékok IV (Games) for piano duet or 2 pianos. We decided to use two pianos. We hope to perform these pieces in 2026 and have other projects in mind.
