I use film (make videos) to recall events (usually from the natural world) on holiday trips or in my local environment (East Yorkshire).
Together with recorded sounds from a particular location, I use the edited film to inspire a piece of music.
The film here was made on location in Warter, East Yorkshire at Dawn. Sampled environmental sounds recorded at the same time of the film become part of the piece of music. As with ‘Shades of Blue-Green’ the music can be performed independently.
